Actually, it's not only a restaurant. Rumah Atsiri or Atsiri's House gives you more. There is a large botanical garden surrounding a main building which used for a restaurant. I prefer spent my time to look around the garden and learning the name of herbal...plants and their benefit for our health. I think this place can be a favourable instagram users. But, a ticket pass that I had to buy at the front gate was very expensive if we compare with other tourist attractions in Solo. IDR 50,000 for one person entrance. At the botanical garden gate, you have to attach your card onto the card reader to open the portal. Afterward, your balance in the card will be IDR 35,000. You can use the balance for buying meal or beverage. If the meal price you buy is more expensive than your balance, so you have to pay cash for the extra, contrarily, if you don't use it, your balance money will be gone. Just let you know, beverage price here is around IDR 20,000. You need more than just drink after walked around garden, don't you?More

Masukke kawasan Rumah Atsiri pasti kita bingung karena luas banget. Kami sekeluarga jalan-jalan dulu lihat toko-nya. Ada kaos, aromatheraphy dan tanaman yang dijual ke pengunjung. Setelah puas berkeliling di toko, kami menuju lantai bawah ke spot foto andalannya rumah atsiri.

We started with a Kostrizer which is a Schwarz bier or dark lager beer which were 3 euros per beer. It is a very good lager and pours a reddish brown color. My husband and I finally made a decision of the Kalbsmedaillons "Marsalasosse" which is a veal medaillons in a rich Marsala sauce with Pommes Frittes and an accompaning salad. We also ordered the Jagerschnitzel which was an Escalope Pork Schnitzel with the same side dishes. They were both tasty and filling with no room for dessert. The entire lunch for two people came to euros which included 3 beers. The Kalbsmedaillons was 20 euros while the Jagerschnitzel was euros. We were seated in a booth with a view of the outside street. The view is nothing spectacular but a street of small buildings of no particular interest of architecture. The inside of the restaurant was nice with dark wood and a small bar area and more seating in the back of the restaurant. The menus came in French, German and English and our waitperson spoke very good English. If we would ever be back in Saarbrucken, we would definitely try some of the other interesting food on its extensive menu. I would recommend this for a nice reasonable lunch for the type of food served which I would say was Eastern European. The restaurant was quite full with many repeat customers.
